Every football team, one consistent visual identity.
Thousands of teams across hundreds of competitions, delivered through one API in a single, consistent visual system. Use Badges throughout your product — or as the fallback beneath your existing licensed artwork.
One visual language across your football coverage
Official artwork pulled from different sources creates uneven, inconsistent coverage. Every Badges team follows the same underlying visual system — so grids, coupons, event cards and results stay coherent across competitions, countries and data sources.
The fallback beneath your licensed assets
Already licensed official artwork for a major competition? Keep showing it. Where you have no official asset — the long tail of smaller competitions and teams — Badges fills the gap automatically, so users see a team identity instead of an empty placeholder. You don’t have to choose between official artwork and Badges.
Resolve any team to a consistent asset
Your feed already knows the team. Request its Badges asset by slug, by Badges ID, or by the team ID your sports-data provider already uses — Badges maps that identity to the visual asset and returns SVG or PNG.
GET /v1/badge/blackburn-rovers.svg
# by Badges ID
GET /v1/badge/{badges_id}.svg
# by your provider's team ID
GET /v1/badge?provider=opta&team_id=…
Map to the team IDs your feed already uses
Badges keeps a canonical team record with mappings to the identifiers used by external sports-data providers. Send the provider team ID from your feed and Badges resolves it to the right team and asset — no manual matching in your product.
Provider names are shown only as examples of supported mappings. Badges is not affiliated with or endorsed by any data provider, club, league or governing body, and no partnership is implied. Example IDs below are placeholders.
"badges_id": "team_12345",
"name": "Blackburn Rovers",
"slug": "blackburn-rovers",
"providers": {
"opta": "OPTA_PLACEHOLDER_ID",
"sportradar": "SR_PLACEHOLDER_ID"
},
"assets": { "svg": "…", "png": "…" }
